Your mind can make you sick or healthy

The thoughts that passed in your mind, fearful ones in this case, sent suggestions to your body and resulted in actual physical changes such as sweating and fast heartbeat.
Immunity weakens with bad moods
When a person feels bad his immunity usually goes lower and as a result he can get sick. On the other hand when a person experiences a good mood his immunity goes up and his chance of getting sick is lowered.
HERE ARE WAYS YOUR MIND CAN MAKE YOU SICK OR WELL
How  your mind can make you sick.
1.The mind can make a person sick to evade something
If a person hates his job but can't do anything about it then his mind might let him get sick often , by lowering the immunity, so that it gives him an excuse not to go to work. By doing so the mind thinks that its helping.
2.The mind can make a person sick to punish him/her
If a person feels intense guilt then his mind might make him sick in order to punish him for what he did. In such a case the mind believes that sickness is better than guilt.
3.A psychological disorder can develop to protect a person
A person who has a low self esteem and who is too afraid to meet people might develop Agoraphobia or the fear of open places. By doing so the mind insures that this person will stay away from people.
4. The mind can kill
A person who badly wants to die might get his wish granted by his mind. The mind can lower the immunity to a great extent or it can even let the person's foot slip while walking on a pavement with the goal of killing him.
5. The mind might make a person sick to get him some attention
When the mind believes that a person is being ignored it might make him sick to
capture the attention of the people who ignore him. If a man always ignores his wife and hangs out with his friends then her mind might make her sick to get his attention.
6. Getting sick to punish someone
The subconscious mind of a person might make him sick to help him punish someone who treats him badly. A teen who is abused by his parents might get sick for that reason.
7. To help a person rest
If a person is so hard on himself and if he feels guilty when he takes a day off then his mind might make him sick to help him rest for few days or two without feeling guilty.
8. When anger is directed inwards
If a person experienced a tremendous amount of anger or resentment over a prolonged period of time then this anger might turn into depression. Anger is an energy, if it wasn't channeled out in a healthy way then it can turn into depression.
9. Grief can turn into sickness
So many people get sick after they lose loved ones. Some people even get so sick that they die. Sometimes the mind brings sickness to help the person go after the one they lost.
10. All mood changes affect the body
Each mood chance a person experiences is reflected directly in the body. When emotions change the stomach movement changes, heart beat changes and the overall operation of the body is affected.
How your thought can make you well.
1. Be a witness to your negative thoughts.
Learning to be a witness can help you to step back and realize that your mind is swirling into a negative thought pattern. Thoughts run in cycles and about 90 percent of your thoughts are repetitive. Knowing this can help you to realize when a negative cycle of thoughts is coming on. Witness the thoughts as if you are watching a movie without getting so consumed by them.
2.Forgive people and let go of deep pain you can't control.
Many of our negative thoughts can revolve around past actions in which we were wronged. But our inability to forgive people only hurts ourselves in the end because each and every time we think of it a swirl of negative thoughts and the emotions attached to those negative thoughts arises. Forgive past actions because the stress they cause can make you sick .
3. Be optimistic to boost your immune system.
Several studies have shown that optimistic people are less likely to get sick. For decades, many researchers thought the boost in immunity stemmed from the fact that optimistic people were more likely to take care of their health. But more recent studies have shown that a hopeful outlook is actually what influences immunity. Looking on the bright side makes you less likely to get a cold or infection because optimism keeps your immune system performing at its peak.
4.Redirect your mind to focus on your purpose which promote long life.
Feeling like you have a sense of purpose could actually increase the length of your life. Studies consistently show that people who believe their lives are meaningful are more likely to live healthier, longer lives. Whether your work gives you a purpose or you find meaning by volunteering your time, make sure whatever you're doing matters. Feeling like you have a reason to get out of bed every day might be the secret to longevity.
5.Write gratitude journal to sleep better to calm the mind of deep stress.
If you're struggling with insomnia, a gratitude journal might be the best cure. Several studies have linked gratitude to better quality and longer lasting sleep. Before you go to bed, identify three things you're grateful for and write them in a gratitude journal. Conjuring up feelings of thankfulness right before you fall asleep will increase the chances of you getting a good night's rest.
6.Relax and let stress go.
You can use your thoughts to help rid yourself of stresses. When you’re feeling overwhelmed take a minute to relax and focus your thoughts on something else. Over time, you may be able to better handle the big and little stresses that come your way.
7.Think about each breath. It can help to focus your thoughts and draw stress away if you make a conscious effort to think about each breath as you take it in and out. It will help relax you and bring you more in touch with your body’s rhythms.
8.Control your thoughts at bedtime.
For many who are stressed, getting to sleep at night can be a
challenge. Use your thoughts to shove out all the worries and tasks that are floating around and to concentrate on relaxing, restful thoughts even if that means just counting sheep.
9. Don’t think about the pain. Studies have shown that when people are distracted from a pain source they feel it much less intensely than when they are concentrating on it. Use your brain to distract yourself away from your pain whether it’s a simple headache or something more serious so you can feel better and get through your day.
10.Picture your body fighting off infections.
Along those same lines, whether you have a sinus infection or a serious illness, you may be able to take a shot at helping clear it up by concentrating on eradicating it with your mind . Imagine your body fighting off the infection bit by bit and it might do just that.
11.Stop thinking of yourself as a sick person.
When you are constantly thinking of yourself as being sick you may be resigning yourself to that fate not only mentally but physically as well. By thinking of yourself as becoming well again you may motivate your bodily systems to kick into gear and give whatever’s plaguing you the boot.
12.Change your inner dialogue.
If all your thoughts about things involve negative terms, worst-case scenarios and doom and gloom you’re not doing yourself any favors health wise. Change the way you talk to yourself to a more positive, motivating voice. You’ll be happier and in the long run healthier too.
13. Understand your hunger.
Not all hunger is based on a true need to eat. It can be caused by loneliness, anger, sadness and a variety of other emotional and psychological issues. When you feel yourself getting the desire to eat, take a minute to think about whether or not you’re truly hungry or if you’re just trying to fill some other kind of need.
14. Downplay cynicism, ill will and envy. These kind of negative thoughts won’t bring anything good your way. Instead, turn your thoughts about others into a more positive light and remind yourself that no one controls your happiness but you.
15.Fake it until you make it.
Sometimes all it takes to be successful is to pretend that you are already are successful. By believing that you will meet your goals one day, and acting the part, you may actually be setting yourself up for future success.
