How you can self-treat convid-19 at home and recover in 7 ways



There are 7 ways you can self-treat Covid-19 at home and  recover.

At the moment there is no specific medicine to prevent or treat CoronaVirus disease.

Those who have contracted it may need supportive care to help them breathe.


If you think you might have contracted Covid-19 DON'T PANIC, You could be just showing the symptoms due to allergies or a cold or flu, their symptoms are very similar with those of Covid-19.


Here's how the symptoms between the three can be mixed up.

If your symptoms are mild then you can isolate and treat yourself at home until recovery.

1st things 1st: STAY AT HOME!!!!!

2-Be isolated in a separate room, and use a separate bathroom if possible

3-Take it easy, Keep warm, Rest and sleep

4-Drink plenty of liquids

5-You can use a room humidifier or take a hot shower to help with breathing

6-Use pain and cough medication to help with sore throat and cough

7-Maintain a healthy diet with vitamin C so you're strong enough to fight off the infection

What your family can do:



They should Regularly disinfect counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, toilets, electronic gadgets, and bedside tables while wearing protective gloves and then throw the gloves away after cleaning everything.

When to go to the hospital:

Signs that you now require hospitalization include:

1.Rising fever

2.Worsening cough

3.Increased difficulty breathing.

If at any point, your symptoms worsen, DO NOT JUST GO TO A HEALTHCARE CENTRE call in before you leave and wait for further instructions from that facillity.
