The speed at which coronavirus is spreading across the world is so alarming, so much so that it is difficult to believe that there are still some countries without any suspected cases of Corona virus.
Whether you believe it or not, there's a handful of countries without any Corona virus cases.
The virus has now been reported in at least 193 countries.
As of July 29,2020 there are only 12 countries that have not confirmed any cases of COVID-19.

1. NORTH KOREA, ASIA (POPULATION: 25,778,816):
Despite the fact that North Korea is China's closest neighborhood, yet they are recording zero cases.
North Korea was the first country to commence closing of borders.
As a neighbour of China, the country closed its borders on January 21st and hasn't re-opened since. It then enforced strict measures for those coming into the country (foreigners and nationals) including month or two-month quarantine.

2. TURKMENISTAN, ASIA (POPULATION: 6,031,200)
Turkmenistan is a country in Central Asia, and the borders are Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. all it's borders have reports of coronavirus infections. Most of the land borders were closed more than a month ago, and in early February According to Turkmenistan authorities, it is said that they cancelled many flights and all flights to and from China.
3. THE SOLOMON ISLANDS, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 686,884)
The Solomon Islands is surprisingly one of the least visited countries in the world. You can access it easily directly from close countries like Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu. Since February, the Solomon Islands now requires a medical report to allow entry. And Travellers coming from infected countries required 14-day quarantine.
4. VANUATU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 307,145)
Vanuatu has no confirmed cases and executed strict policies for those coming in from overseas . Those coming all the way from infected countries were not allowed to enter or had to undergo quarantine, and anyone that wants to come into the country had to provide a medical certificate.
5. SAMOA, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 198,413)
Samoa has reportedly been on lockdown since March.And all international travel in and out of the country has been suspended.
6. KIRIBATI, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 119,451)
There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kiribati, but the country has declared a state of emergency. From 30th March, schools closed for 2 weeks.
7. FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 115,030)
Micronesia was fast to enforce travel bans in early February, including entire travel bans for those on transit from China and Chinese citizens.
8. TONGA, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 105,695)
Tonga has applied strict rules regarding traveling.
Since Fiji's first suspected case of coronavirus, Tonga closed its borders to foreigners and only allowed foreigners to leave who were travelling back on flights to their own countries. Since March Tonga has been on total lockdown.
9. THE MARSHALL ISLANDS, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 59,190)
On 21st March, it was said that the only international flight that was in connection with the Marshall Islands ceased operations temporarily for at least 3 weeks.
10. PALAU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 18,094)
It was suspected that a person was having Corona virus and was under investigation after having travelled from Guam, however, he tested negative. There is currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Palau.
11. TUVALU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 11,793)
Often recognized as one of the least visited country in the world, if not the least visited country, Tuvalu sees fewer than 200 tourists per year. This has really assisted the country in preventing an outbreak in this country with a very small population.
12. NAURU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 10,823)
Nauru, This is a country so small that you can actually walk around it in just one day, the country has managed to stay coronavirus-free. Along with Tuvalu, it has been recorded for being one of the least visited countries on Earth.
